I have long admired and studied the WA, and have followed the battery assigned to the Trans Mississippi Dept. in the late War for Southern Independence. This unit served well and faithfully in that war, and I am proud to own an authentic belt buckle (plate) found on the field of battle at Pittsburg Landing (misidentified by the damnedyankees as "Shiloh"). Please continue to help preserve the glorious history of this elite unit!

Was a member in the 1990's and had made many friends. Hope to hear from them and learn all is well with them and who is still around. I'm currently in Baghdad training Iraqi police officers.

Hey, I was a member of the group from 1990- 1995 and served as Historian for half that time. Some of the pictures on the site were taken by me :-) It's good to see the group is bigger (and better) than ever! I have a lot of good memories of my reenacting days. Well, I am married now, and we are living and working in Dubai, UAE. My wife and I teach at the Universal American School in Dubai. I hope is all well wth everyone. Good luck and God bless!
